Chibi Builds: Village Makeover Part 6

I found a Village in my screenshots map and we’re giving it a makeover. Today we’re building something new to go into the village. It’s a community campfire.

As some of you may remember from a different article, I typically find myself in a snowy biome of some shape or form. While this isn’t a Taiga village, I love the idea of campfires in different places throughout the village. With that being said, I’m going to be adding community campfires to this village.

It’s a relatively easy build that I’ve already done a few times on my own. The items list is as follows.

Oak trap door, log, and leaves. Cobblestone, mossy cobblestone, hay bale, dirt path, and a campfire.

I start off by digging in where all of the cobblestone components will be. I’ll be building the area into the ground instead of building it on top. I also like to keep at least one near the bell, so that’s where I’m starting.

cobblestone and cobblestone stairs are in rows of three on each side leading into the build. Cobblestone blocks are on either side of the stairs. More cobblestone makes the floor of the build. This makes the size of the build a 6X6 square.

I used the way that the grass was regenerating to randomize where the mossy cobblestone will be. You can decide how yours sits however you want. My builds are always more of a rough guide. Don't stress about it looking the exact same.

Take the very center cobblestone block out and put down a hay bale in its place. Your campfire then goes on top of it. This is strictly to make the smoke climb higher.

Detailing with an oak log in each inner corner. Two oak leaves are stacked on each log with trap doors against the logs. More trap doors are set up around the campfire. This should prevent curious villagers, and any of you who are clumsy, from walking into the fire and getting burned. Connect any of the nearby dirt back to the cobblestone stairs with the dirt path blocks you have on hand.

Pepper your village with a few more of the guys across your village a ta-da. Quick and easy access to cooking any raw on hand food in select places in your village. They can be bigger or smaller if you want. I hope this build was enjoyable. Thank you for reading.
